I speak fluently four languages (Romanian, Russian, English, Spanish) and my clients are from all over the world.
I have been in private practice since 2009. I came to New Zealand in 2013, prior to that in Europe I was (and I am) a registered psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and families using systemic family approach.
I have a rich experience in perinatal counselling and therapy for couples with relationship issues, broader family issues, difficult decisions and anxiety around pregnancy, transition to parenthood, depression, antenatal and postnatal distress, parent-infant relationship issues, career and motherhood (or returning to work after the birth of a baby). I work with perinatal grief and loss (miscarriage, stillbirth loss of a baby) and post-abortion syndrome. Also, I worked with women and couples who struggle with infertility and provided psychological support of ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology). See more...
I was involved on a number of social support projects for children in need, orphans living in subsistence, teenage girls at risk (including sex trafficking), foster families. Also, I provided counselling services to families with children with physical and mental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, etc.
My counselling practice in Blenheim – Parenthood4D Counselling - started in September 2014 when my qualifications, competence, and expertise were recognized by NZAC (New Zealand Association of Counsellors). I work on my next stage of certification in New Zealand.
Since 2014 I have had a contract with Barnardo’s for counselling children, couples, and families.
I am a postnatal depression and anxiety therapeutic group facilitator through PND Marlborough Charitable Trust. Find more about this work here… Also, I work with perinatal issues as pregnancy, miscarriages, infertility, preparation for ART, etc. Find more about this work here…
